One can never miss out two of her distinct traits - skinny & very quiet. Till date, she's still ever so slim - high metabolism, she says. Quiet is a subjective word. She's very quiet with new people, if its possible, she'll not open her mouth to speak! Her expressionless face frightened me with I just knew her, showing not much of her emotions. Most of the time in class, she would treat me like a wall. Her replies were always clear and short, no nonsense kind. But when we did projects or jalan jalan outside, her replies can formulate speech! Ok, I've exaggerated. But seriously, till now, she looks antisocial because her smile is always short and she's hardly excited to meeting new faces. After all these years, I do think that she's changed much more cheerful and livlier, maybe because she has weird friends like dawn and me! Dawn, I must drag you in because you ARE weird.
Of Dawn (in sec2)
Arrogant, "Dao", cool are some words to describe her appearance. It could be due to her unsmiley, ungentle, and "cant-be-bothered" face. I was actually quite perturbed that I had to socialise with her, on the basis that she's good friend of tangy since primary school. I never regret being in the same clique as her. After befriending her, I never sense any hostility or ungentleness. She's not as serious and stern as she looks, but yarh, her cant-be-bothered look still wears on her face. She used to be so so so boyish in sec 2 - muscular (ncc), short-haired, thick-framed specs. She's changed so so so much!
Conclusion
Never judge a book by its cover - am still a sucker for nice-looking book covers. Never buy book that is uninterestingly packaged. For this two friends, I daresay, 1st impression never equal to the true person. The impression that we give to new people is usually a facade to make ourselves look much stronger or independent. Only when you put in effort to know the person, can you actually foster a new concept of the person, and even, a new relationship!
